Brad Thomas

Chief Engineer

Brad started his career with the Australian Army on Blackhawk and Iroquois helicopters and then moved onto GA and Regional Airlines where he held a number of positions including Chief Engineer, Engineering Manager and Maintenance Controller. Brad has over 32 years experience in fixed and rotary wing maintenance across Australia.

Arindom 'Roy' Karmaker


After completing his Diploma in Aircraft Avionics Engineering, Roy commenced his Avionics career in 1992. Before commencing employment with us here at AMC in 2017 as a B2 LAME. Roy has previously worked for Hawker Pacific, Jetstar and Pacific Avionics.
As a lead Avionics LAME, Roy is responsible for not only Aircraft Avionics maintenance, installation and troubleshooting but also system developments.
AMC has recently gained Garmin Dealership and Roys current project is to develop and enhance our current Avionics Department.

Ashleigh Jacka

Stores Supervisor

Ashleigh is the AMC Stores Supervisor and is a local having grown up in the Illawarra.
She has great knowledge of the aviation product market and is the point of contact for customers and other aviation businesses that are in need of aircraft parts.
Ash and her team order all parts that are required to carry out aircraft maintenance, always sourcing quality products from reputable suppliers.
She enjoys working in a fun, high paced environment and is always happy to assist with your parts enquiries.

Gerard Nolan

Quality Safety Manager

Gerard trained in the RNZAF as an aircraft mechanic before completing his LAME qualifications, shortly after Gerard and his wife set up and ran a GA maintenance business for 13 years. After selling the business Gerard had a short working stint in Canada before settling in Australia in 2006. He worked as Chief Engineer for a couple of years then joined CASA in Brisbane, eventually leaving after 10 years, his final position was Northern Region Manager in Cairns.
Gerard has worked for Experience Co since August 2019, his main focus is to try and provide the right framework for safety management, that is suitable for the context of each business unit, so that staff and customers have confidence in our management of risk.


From time to time AMC advertise vacant positions and we are also proud  to offer an apprenticeship programme for any aspiring Aircraft Engineers.
